Buy the Carry Blouse sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Wear this relaxed shirt with a skirt, jeans, or trousers. Tuck it in neatly or leave it out loose. Is oversized not really your thing? Then make it a size (or two) smaller, but check the size chart to make sure there’s enough wiggle room. You have two great options for the sleeve: a classic sleeve or a voluminous sleeve with pleats. Both options have a sleeve cuff and placket.

Suggested fabrics: Live it up in (stonewashed) poplin, modal, lyocell, linen, chambray, (woven) viscose, fine corduroy, or broderie anglaise.
Fabric requirements:
Version 1 (classic sleeve): 110 cm wide fabric: 265 - 355 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 200 - 270 cm.
Version 2 (sleeve with pleats): 110 cm wide fabric: 315 - 380 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 260 - 345 cm.
Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.
Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 90 cm; buttons, 1.2 cm diameter, 13 for XS-L or 14 for XL-XXXL.
PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (45 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.
Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.

This is the Fibremood Carry Blouse. It’s from the latest edition of the magazine. Edition 22.
It’s an oversized shirt with 2 sleeve options. Classic sleeve with pleats at the cuff or voluminous with pleats at the top of the sleeve head and gathers at the cuff. Both have a traditional cuff and placket.
It was the dropped shoulder that I was initially drawn towards.
I went with the size small. My bust measurement was bang in the middle of the size small bust measurement range of 84 to 88 cm.
As an oversized shirt this seems a perfect size, but I would also consider the XS next time. I really love the dropped shoulder which is completely on trend at the moment.
I’ve gone with the classic sleeve which is voluminous enough for me.
Having had quite a bit of shirt experience I love the Fibremood instructions, where just a glance at the diagrams confirms you're going the right way.
