A little disappointing

I was really excited to complete this easy dress. However, once I completed it I came to the quick realisation that a larger size meant a larger size everywhere. It came up like a giants dress. I assumed that the dimensions would be the same, but wider to fit the body, but it was bigger everywhere. I’m not sure why this would happen, as bigger size doesn’t mean bigger everywhere. I’ll have to alter the pattern. Quite annoying.
