Buy the Baby/Child Mini Marcel Dress and Tank Top sewing pattern from Chalk and Notch. The Mini Marcel is a woven dress and tank top that is fitted through the chest and loose through the waist and hips. There are two dress views: View A is midi length and View B is mini length. View C is a tank top that ends at the high hip.

Suggested fabrics: This style is designed for a light to medium weight woven fabric with a nice drape. Rayon challis, rayon crepe, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, linen, double gauze.
Fabric requirements: Minimum fabric required is listed. If you think you will need more for shrinkage, directional print, pattern matching or print repeat, please purchase accordingly.
54" (137 cm) wide fabric: View A (midi dress), 1 1/2 - 3 yd (1.4 - 2.8 m) // View B (mini dress), 1 - 2 yd (0.9 - 1.9 m) // View C (tank top), 3/4 - 1 yd (0.7 - 0.9 m).
Sizing: 12 months – 12 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
Use the chest measurement to determine the size. It is always recommended to sew a test garment to confirm fit. For the Mini Marcel, you can sew just the bodice to confirm whether you need to make any custom adjustments.
Notions: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of tricot fusible interfacing or lightweight fusible interfacing; 1/4 yd (0.25 m) of 3/8" (1 cm) elastic.
