Camimade Audrey Dress

Buy the Audrey Dress sewing pattern from Camimade. Audrey is a short, loose fit dress with grown-on sleeves. It was designed with long puff sleeves made in see-through fabric for a festive and delicate look. However, you can also make it without sleeves and wear it on its own or with a top underneath for an office look. The high collar will keep your neck warm and cosy, while being wide enough to feel free to move. Audrey closes at the back with an invisible zip and small buttons on the collar. The sleeves are finished with tear-proof vents and end with sleeve cuffs. In addition, it has pockets!

Suggested fabrics: Main: Medium weight fabric like tartan, gabardine, velvet, tweed, denim, jacquard, silk, woollen crepe, triple crepe, heavy jersey // Sleeves for version 1: See-through fabric with more or less structure and drape like organza, voile, or georgette // Pockets: Lightweight lining fabric in cotton or polyester. The pockets are a good opportunity to use your remnants!

Fabric requirements:

Main:

150 cm (60″) wide fabric: Sizes A - F: 1.20 m (1 ⅜ yd) // Sizes G - H: 1.90 m (2 ⅛ yd).

115 cm (45″) wide fabric: All sizes: 2.20 m (2 ⅜ yd).

Sleeves for version 1: 150 cm (60") and 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 50 cm (20").

Pockets: 50 x 60 cm (20" x 24").

Sizing: A – H (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Interfacing lighter than your main fabric for the collar (except if the fabric you are using already has a good structure), approx. 30 x 40 cm (12" x 16"); six 1 cm (⅜") buttons for the sleeve version (or two buttons for the sleeveless version); 40 cm (16") invisible zip.
