Alice & Co Patterns Iceberg Dress

Buy the Iceberg Dress sewing pattern from Alice & Co Patterns. The Iceberg Dress is a slinky long sleeved dress designed for knit fabrics. Striking and comfortable at the same time, this is an extremely quick sew, especially if you have an overlocker/serger (but don't be put off if you don't have one). The fit is snug at the bust and hips with a bit of ease at the waist. The pattern is drafted to just above ankle length but chop to mid-calf, knee or mini as desired. You could also shorten the sleeves to elbow or cap for endless variations.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some pattern pieces are divided across two A0 sheets. The sheets will need to be joined with no overlap. 

Suggested fabrics: A stretch fabric, such as wool, cotton or viscose jersey. A heavier weight fabric will be more flattering and hold the shape of the dress best. Ponte di Roma is an excellent choice.

Fabric requirements: Up to 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 2.5 m (2 3/4 yd) // 150 cm (59") wide fabric: Sizes 6 - 16, 1.6 m (1 3/4 yd ) / Sizes 16 - 22, 2.5 m (2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 - 22. Please check the size chart.

Notions: 50 cm (20") seam tape (a length of selvedge scrap from a woven fabric will also do fine).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions (A4 and US letter formats); A4 print-at-home pattern (28 pages for sizes 6-18, 33 pages for sizes 18-22); US letter print-at-home pattern (32 pages for sizes 6-18, 33 pages for sizes 18-22); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 6-18, 2 sheets for sizes 18-22). Note: You must print this pattern in colour.
