Buy the V8988 men’s suit sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It’s perfect for an advanced dressmaker. The fitted, unlined jacket has collar, collar band, shoulder pads, front extending to side back with no side seams, welt pockets (inside and outside), inside right button tab, back vent, interfaced, lined, two-piece sleeves with button vent. B: Flaps. The fitted, slightly tapered trousers have button waistband, carriers, side front/change pockets, back-button welt pockets, inside button tab, crotch shield and fly zipper. Self bias binding finishes crotch seam and left fly. A, B and C: French seams.

Suggested fabrics: Linen blends, seersucker, men’s suiting // Interfacing: Nylon fusible knit.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.

Sizing: MUU (34-36-38-40), MXX (40-42-44-46). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
