What we think: This is quite an involved make with lots of hardware. Plan this one carefully before getting started, then take it slow. If you need a little hand holding why not check out Heather’s sew-along for this pattern?

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as twill, gabardine, linen, ripstop, Gore-Tex.

Fabric requirements:

45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0-8 = 3.5 yd (3.2 m) // 10-20 = 4 yd (3.75 m)

58″ (150 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0-8 = 2.5 yd (2.3 m) // 10-14 = 3 yd (2.75 m) // 16-20 = 3.5 yd (3.2 m)

Sizing: 0 – 20 (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thirteen 1/2″-5/8″ (12-15 mm) metal snap buttons; separating coat zipper with pull on left side (sizes 0-4 = 24″, 6-20 = 26″); 1.5 yd (1.3 m) of 5 mm drawstring; polyester thread // Optional: 3 yd of double fold bias tape to finish neckline and coat hem (can be replaced with serged stitch or homemade bias tape); two size #0 or #1 (inside diameter 6-7 mm) grommets (can be replaced with machine buttonhole); topstitching thread.

Note: If you would prefer to line your Kelly Anorak Jacket, you can buy a lining expansion pack (PDF only) directly from the designer.
