Buy the Vetiver Top Pattern Expansion sewing pattern from French Navy. Use this pattern expansion to add long sleeves and/or a Peter Pan collar to your Vetiver Top. If you’ve found yourself regularly reaching for your Vetiver Tops throughout the warmer months and wishing for a winter-friendly version, then this expansion is for you.

The Peter Pan collar can of course be used with both the short- and long-sleeved versions, adding a cute detail to compliment the feminine lines of the top.

Note: This is not a complete pattern. You must already own the original Vetiver Top pattern to use this expansion. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, you can do so here.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Style A is best suited to lightweight woven fabrics and/or those with some drape such as rayon, voile, lawn or linen blends. Style B will work in all the fabrics already specified as well as in medium weight fabrics without drape such as shirting cotton, chambray, linen and the like.

Fabric requirements: 

150 cm (60″) wide fabric: Style A, 2 m (2.2 yd) // Style B, 1.8 m (2 yd).

115 cm (45″) wide fabric: Style A, 2.2 m (2.4 yd) // Style B, 2 m (2.2 yd).

Sizing: A – H (approx. UK 6 – 16/18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The pattern is drafted for a height of 171 cm (5’7″) and a B cup. If you are significantly taller or shorter, you can adjust the pattern using the LENGTHEN/SHORTEN lines on the pattern pieces.

Notions: Sewing thread; eight 1 cm (3/8″) buttons; lightweight fusible interfacing.
