Did you know we have a fabulous selection of childrenswear patterns on The Fold Line shop? If you sew for little ones, we have a wealth of sewing patterns to browse! Sewing tiny things can be so satisfying and you might find you have a lot of “awwww” moments. They also require much smaller amounts of fabrics so you might even find some offcuts of your own projects do the job!

If you haven’t discovered the popular indie pattern company, Waves & Wild yet, you might want to get acquainted with their much-loved designs! They are a family firm who aim to make sewing accessible to all through customisable sewing patterns for beginners, improvers and professionals. The business really grew under the ‘Made By Jack’s Mum’ brand, which then morphed into Waves & Wild, offering women, men’s and children/baby patterns. Their designs have a natural, free, outdoors feel to them, so you can adventure in comfort in your handmade clothes! If you are dipping your toe into sewing childrenswear, Waves and Wild are a great place to start as they have a number of free patterns that you can try out.

If you like sewing for little ones, you must check out the lovely designs from Pattern Paper Scissors. Becky founded the company after having her first child Edie. She left her job designing women’s and childrenswear to create her own wonderful patterns. The range of designs for babies and children are great for stylish kids!

Designed by Olu and Anna, Madeit Patterns are a UK based company specialising in sewing patterns for the modern maker. They started off designing childrenswear, focussing on what kids do in the clothes they wear and ensuring our patterns allow kids to dress accordingly. And, since 2016, they expanded their range to womenswear and teens. They are passionate about creating beautiful, desirable, easy to fit patterns, with timeless silhouettes and unique cuts that inspire and excite. Go and take a look!

Elemeno Patterns is named after designer Liesl’s family (LMNO). The patterns came about as Liesl was sewing lovely things for her own little one and thought others might like to make these cute designs too!
