Lupin Jacket

I have had this beautiful wool fabric for over a year and hesitated cutting it. I finally decided to make the Lupin jacket and made a toile first to check sizing and fit. The only change I made was a narrow shoulder adjustment, otherwise I made it exactly to the pattern.
The instructions were easy to follow, the pattern pieces fit together well, and the more advanced techniques of welt pockets and lining seemed easier because of the explanations.
I love the finished jacket and receive any compliments when I wear it!!
