Magnolia Dress

Deer and Doe

In stock

Buy the Magnolia Dress sewing pattern from Deer and Doe. It’s a stunning mock-wrap dress. Version A has a plunging neckline, maxi skirt with a slit, and long sleeves. Version B has a regular neckline, short skirt, and butterfly sleeves.

Suggested fabrics: Batiste, rayon twill or crepe, cotton voile. Allow extra fabric to match stripes or plaids.

Fabric requirements: 150 cm (60”) wide fabric: version A, 4 m (4⅜ yards); version B, 2.5 m (2¾ yards) // 115 cm (45”) wide fabric: version A, 5.3 m (5⅞ yards); version B, 3.6 m (4 yards).

Sizing: EU 34 – 46 (approx. UK 6 – 14/16). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements. Note: sizes EU 48 – 52 are NOT included in this pattern, even though they appear on the size chart.

Notions: 1.5 m (60”) bias tape; 50 cm (20”) invisible zipper; version A: 60 cm (24’’) elastic, 7 mm (¼’’) wide.

This pattern is available in PAPER format. The pattern envelope contains a full-size pattern and a detailed instruction booklet.

Note: Deer and Doe have discovered an error in the grading of the butterfly sleeve from version B. The sleeve is too small for the armhole in sizes 44 and above. The new pattern piece for the sleeve can be downloaded in ready-to-print format here.
