Buy the Terra Pants sewing pattern from Pattern Fantastique. The Terra is a high-waisted pant, tailored with deep pleats that fall into an elegant tapered and slightly bowed leg. Finished with side pockets, back patch pockets and optional belt loops. These pants exude cool and comfortable with a chic edge for work.

Suggested fabrics: The Terra can be made in a wide range of fabrics: cotton (denim), linen, cord, velvet. For softer fabrics like linen, a weight of 200+ gsm is recommended. For lighter weight cottons, use a tighter, crisper and hardier weave to provide stability. Note thicker fabrics will absorb some of the ease in the waist (if your waist measurement is between sizes, consider going up a size).

Fabric requirements: 135 cm (53 1/8″) wide fabric: 225 cm (88 9/16″).

Sizing: 6 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: Mid-weight interfacing, 25 cm x 135 cm (9 13/16″ x 53 1/8″); pocket bag lining, 80 cm x 40 cm (31 1/2″ x 15 3/4″); 18 cm (7 1/16″) metal trouser zip; 2 cm (13/16″) button.
