Buy the Poppy Dog Coat sewing pattern from Poppy & Jazz. This little dog coat is reversible so you can choose two different fun fabrics. How about a cosy fleece layer on one side and a smart corduroy on the other? The coat fastens with velcro and is super simple to sew and easy to put on your pup.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton, corduroy, wool/wool blend, tweed or waterproof fabric. You will need two similar weight contrasting fabrics to make the coat reversible. You could also use a knit or fleece fabric for one layer. Avoid anything too thick as it will make the seams bulky and the curves harder to turn.

Fabric requirements: 

Fabric requirements are the same for the main and contrast fabrics.

115 cm wide fabric: 45 – 80 cm.

140 cm wide fabric: 45 – 80 cm.

Sizing: XS – L. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 25 cm length of velcro for closure; hand sewing needle (optional) // Version 2 only: 25 mm wide bias binding, 2.25 m for XS, 2.5 m for S, 2.75 m for M, or 3 m for L (if making your own, make it 5 cm wide).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (10 pages); US letter print-at-home pattern (10 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
