Buy the TN31 Parka Hood Addition sewing pattern from Merchant & Mills. Add a hood to the TN31 Parka. Choose either an attached hood or a detachable hood, which can be lined with self or lining fabric.

Note: This is not a complete pattern. You must already own the original TN31 Parka pattern to use this pattern addition. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern you can do so here.

Suggested fabrics: Same as for the TN31 Parka.

Fabric requirements: 

Attached hood (self lined): 120 cm wide fabric: 0.75 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 0.65 – 0.75 m // 150 cm wide fabric: 0.6 – 0.75 m.

Attached hood (same quantities needed in self and lining): 120-150 cm wide fabric: 0.55 – 0.6 m.

Detachable hood (self lined): 120 cm wide fabric: 0.85 m // 140-150 cm wide fabric: 0.8 m.

Detachable hood (same quantities needed in self and lining): 120-150 cm wide fabric: 0.55 – 0.6 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 18 (approx. UK 6 – 16/18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: 120 cm of cord // For attached hood: 1 extra button, same size as parka buttons // For detachable hood: 5 extra buttons, same size or smaller (approx. 18 mm).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (12 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
