Note if purchasing copy shop printing: The belt pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Oilskin, dry oilskin, mid-heavy cotton canvas or twill/drill, mid weight denim (8-14 oz.) or corduroy. For the lining, the designer suggests barrier lining or a simple stable cotton. When choosing fabric, consider if you would want to put the coat in the washing machine (for example oilskin cannot be washed) or if you would let the dirt dry and then brush it off.

Fabric requirements: Based on largest chest/belt in size bracket.

Coat*: 100 – 150 cm (39 1/2″ – 60″) wide fabric: 0.9 – 1.6 m (1 – 1 3/4 yd).

Lining: 80 – 150 cm (39 1/2″ – 60″) wide fabric: 0.6 – 1.1 m (3/4 – 1 1/4 yd).

Webbing for belt (View 1): 72 – 135 cm (28 1/2″ – 53″).

Bias binding or soft webbing (View 1): 2 – 4 m (2 1/2 – 4 1/2 yd).

*If making View 1, subtract 0.2 – 0.4 m (1/4 – 1/2 yd).

Sizing: XS – XL. Please check the finished measurements and the graphic in the image gallery showing how to measure your dog.

Notions: 7 metal snap fasteners.
