Buy the Jordan Overalls sewing pattern from Madswick. Jordan is a throwback to vintage overalls with a cropped bib and high waist. They only require buttons for hardware, and the elastic back waistband makes them easy to pull on and comfortable to wear. The Jordan Overalls also have lots of pockets: an optional patch pocket on the bib, slash pockets, and optional welt pockets.

View A has straight back shoulder straps that fasten in the front. View B has crossed back shoulder straps, with optional ruffles, that fasten in the back. View C is a straight leg trouser. For all three views you can choose a short, cropped, or full-length hem.

Suggested fabrics: Light to heavy weight woven fabric with no stretch, such as wool blends, linen, duck canvas, cotton twill, or denim. Stretch denim will also work, but if using a stretch denim with 5% stretch, you may consider sizing down.

Fabric requirements: You may need more fabric if you choose to use a directional or graphic print in order to pattern match.

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 4.5 yd (2.75 – 4 m) // 56″ (142 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 – 3.5 yd (2 – 3.25 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 4.5 yd (2.75 – 4 m) // 56″ (142 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 – 3.5 yd (2 – 3.25 m).

View C: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3.25 yd (2.2 – 3 m) // 56″ (142 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 – 2.75 yd (1.4 – 2.5 m).
