Buy the Harry Cape sewing pattern from I AM Patterns. I am Harry, a warm circle cape with in-seam pockets. My collar sits flat close to the neckline. For your comfort, I am fully lined. You easily slip me on and off using the four buttons on the front button placket.

– PAPER (next working day dispatch on orders and FREE UK delivery over £50). Note for the PAPER pattern: The pattern pieces overlap, so you will need to trace the pattern. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the PDF version as the pieces do not overlap. 

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Boiled wool, wool gabardine, melton, bouclé, jacquard.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 215 – 240 cm (2 3/8 – 2 5/8 yd) // 110 cm (43″) wide fabric: 275 – 300 cm (3 – 3 1/4 yd).

Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 260 – 280 cm (2 7/8 – 3 1/8 yd) // 110 cm (43″) wide fabric: 290 – 310 cm (3 1/4 – 3 3/8 yd).

Sizing: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SIZING OPTIONS CAREFULLY.

PAPER PATTERN: EU 36 – 46 (approx. UK 6/8 – 14). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

PDF PATTERN: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 18). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 4 buttons, 2.5 cm (1″) diameter // Optional: 35 cm x 90 cm (15″ x 35″) fusible interfacing for the collar.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions in English and French; A4 and US letter print-at-home patterns (29 pages); A3 pattern (14 pages); A0 copy shop file (2 sheets).
