The waistband fits comfortably, and the trouser legs drape gracefully at the hips, flaring elegantly towards the hem. Opal works well in woven and knit fabrics. With a simple side seam zip, you’re set.

Suggested fabrics: Opal works well in a variety of different fabrics. Stiffer fabrics, like denim, cotton, corduroy, etc. are all fantastic. Or you could create a different effect with a soft drape (woollen) fabric. Think gabardine, flannel, crepe, and more. And prints? Well, why not start with Glen check, tartan, or houndstooth? Opal is also perfect in knit fabrics (in which case, omit the zip).

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 215 – 265 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 170 – 250 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 60 / US 0 – 28 / UK 4 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 40 cm; closed-end zip, 18 cm for sizes 4-18 or 20 cm for sizes 20-32.
