The coat is designed with roomy patch pockets and a pinked edge. You can make it with a classic collar or a hood. Great for a first coat project, or if you need a stylish new look for the weekend. It has a generous fit with room to wear over a sweater.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a double-face fabric that doesn’t fray as you will see both sides. Examples are boiled wool, felt-type wools, Melton wool, doeskin, bonded fabrics, faux suede or leather.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (56″) wide fabric: With collar, 2.4 m (2 5/8 yd) // With hood, 2.7 m (3 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 22 (approx. UK 6 – 24/26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: 1 nice big button for the collar version; 3 buttons for the hood version // Optional: 50 cm (20″) strip of double-sided iron-on tape for the back vent; a coat hanging chain.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions in A4 and US letter formats; A4 print-at-home pattern (37 pages); US letter print-at-home pattern (39 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets). Note: You must print this pattern in colour.
