Bella Loves Patterns Dulce Skirt

Buy the Dulce Skirt sewing pattern from Bella Loves Patterns. Dulce is a high-waisted mini skirt with a slight A-line shape at the hem. It features two darts at the front and two at the back, and an invisible zip in the centre back seam. The skirt is fully lined with a bagged out lining and a separate internal waistband which has bias binding on the bottom edge for a luxurious finish.

Suggested fabrics: 

Main: Dulce was designed for mid-weight fabrics with some structure such as tweeds/bouclé, suitings, denim, crepe, linen and cotton.

Lining: Lightweight slippery fabrics such as satin, habotai, viscose satin lining, crepe de chine, viscose twill, cupro and acetate. For a main fabric made of cotton or linen, the designer recommends cotton voile or a lightweight cotton-based fabric for the lining.

Fabric requirements: 

Height Group 1: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: Main, 70 – 80 cm (0.75 – 0.85 yd) // Lining, 90 cm – 1 m (0.97 – 1.2 yd).

Height Group 2: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: Main, 70 – 80 cm (0.75 – 0.85 yd) // Lining, 90 cm – 1 m (0.97 – 1.2 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 22 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has two height options:

Height Group 1: 160 cm (5’3″)
Height Group 2: 170 cm (5’7″)

Notions: Lightweight fusible woven interfacing or lightweight knit interfacing with low stretch (cotton interfacing is not recommended for this pattern); one 23 cm (9″) invisible zip; 1.2 cm (1/2″) wide stay tape.
