Buy the Armor Trousers and Shorts sewing pattern from I AM Patterns. I am Armor, wide-leg trousers featuring an elasticated waistband, side pockets and back pockets. The pintucks on my legs and my buttons give me a seaside feel. You can decide to make me as trousers, cropped trousers or shorts. Very easy to make and comfortable, sew me in a thousand different ways and wear me everyday.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PAPER (next working day dispatch on orders and FREE UK delivery over £50). Note for the PAPER pattern: The pattern pieces overlap, so you will need to trace the pattern. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the PDF or copy shop version as the pieces do not overlap. 

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight fabrics for trousers: denim, cotton canvas, linen, gabardine, double gauze, corduroy.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: Trousers, 2 m (2 1/4 yd) // Cropped trousers, 1.7 m (1 7/8 yd) // Shorts, 1 m (1 1/8 yd).

Sizing: 36 – 46 (approx. UK 6 – 14). Please check the size chart.

Notions: 90 cm (36″) of 2.5 cm (1″) wide flat elastic; 6 buttons of 1.5 – 2.5 cm (5/8″ – 1″) diameter.

PDF pattern includes: Digital sewing pattern in A4 and US letter format (23 pages), A3 format (9 pages), and A0 format (1 sheet) along with step-by-step illustrated instructions.
