Suggested fabrics: Sweater knits, soft double knits.

The garment in the photos is made of sweater knit. The fabric is medium-weight, soft, and stretchy. The fibre content is wool + elastane.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 1.25 - 1.45 m (1 3/8 - 1 5/8 yd) // 180 cm (70") wide fabric: 0.75 - 1.3 m (7/8 - 1 3/8 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)

Model Dasha: Height 168 cm (5'6") / Bust 83 cm (32 5/8") / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4") / Hips 89 cm (35"). Dasha is wearing size 36.

Perfectly simple

I loved this. I was looking for a simple pattern for chunky knit wool fabric which was not so easy to find. This is easy to make for an everyday sweater and layers perfectly over dresses.

Quick sew but Tiny

Pros - Very quick and easy sew. That's the best I can say about this pattern because it is absolutely tiny. I'm a size 8. Checked the measurements and bought size 36.  Can't even get my head through the neck. The arms are skin tight. And because Vikisews don't layer the sizes on their patterns I'm stuck with a pattern I can't use and wasted fabric. My advice would be to go at least 1 size larger than you need!!
