Buy the Icone Sweatshirt and Cardigan sewing pattern from Atelier Scämmit. Icone is a simple sweatshirt or cardigan with neat details: slightly curved raglan sleeves to soften the shoulder, an ample hood and pretty interior finishes. The sweatshirt option can be made with or without the hood, and the cardigan can be zipped or buttoned. To be sewn either with an overlocker or with a standard machine and twin needle.

Lovely pattern, sewed up well. Instructions were good, if a little bitty as you have to jump from one section to the next for the instructions that relate to the view you have chosen. This is partly because there are such different views to choose from, a sweatshirt, a bomber style cardigan with zip or buttons or a hoodie. This variety makes it a good value and versatile pattern. The point of difference and attention to detail that made this pattern stand out for me was the shaped raglan seam. Sounds like a small thing, but the instructions said this curve would minimise the look of a larger shoulder, and it works! I often feel I look all shoulders in raglan sleeves but this looks more balanced. Love the way the raglan seams meet up on the hood, Great for colour blocking. First pattern I have used from this designer and encouraged to try others, quality drafting and attention to detail with interesting small details. The packaging is lovely which also makes it a joy to use. Recommended.
