Difficult to manage

This pattern is lovely, but I had some difficulties. The arm scyth is too large for the sleeve head, resulting in an uneven bodice at the sleeve. The ease of the trouser leg is too much, again resulting in a puckered inner back trouser seam. I am a petite 5’1” and the body length is virtually right for me, allowing me to lift my arms with ease, so if you are taller, you might need to make adjustments. It would be better if the front opening went beyond the waist line as it is difficult to take off, so I added a little extra in the waist measurements. I’m really glad I made a toile as the fabric I chose was too expensive to spoil with these problems. The final result is lovely, I’m really pleased. I sent photographs of the problems and details of my alterations, so hopefully some amendments will be made. I would make a further alteration if I used this pattern again - to extend the front opening, so I could have less fullness around the waist area. My advice is to make a toile and see what adjustments you need to make!
