Buy the Unisex PJ Pants sewing pattern from Wardrobe by Me. These loose-fitting pyjama pants feature an elastic waist with a drawstring. The one-pattern-piece design with no side seam makes them faster to sew and extra comfy for sleeping.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: The pattern piece has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.
Suggested fabrics: Use soft, lightweight woven fabric such as cotton, silk or viscose. If you choose to make the pants in jersey, you should size down one size.
Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 1.9 - 2.3 m (2 - 2.5 yd).
Sizing: A - I (approx. UK 4 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 4 cm (1 1/2") wide elastic.

My kids wear pajama pants inside and outside of the home. I was looking for an al gender pattern that they would like. This was such an easy sew, whipped these up for my D in no time at all. Biggest struggle was to find flannel wide enough. I love that there is no side seam although this does mean no pockets. I was concerned there would be too much fabric in the leg but these were just the right fit, no adjustments needed. I knew these were a winner when they got put on straight away and now I have an 'order' for three more pairs.
