Buy the Children’s Woven Pants sewing pattern from Wardrobe by Me. These classic pull-on pants and shorts feature an elastic waist, straight leg, side and back pockets, and optional elastic at the hem. The decorative front fly gives the impression of a zipper fly.

Suggested fabrics: Choose bottom weight fabric in linen, cotton, light canvas, corduroy, or denim without stretch. Use cotton or polyester for the pocket lining, and interfacing that supports the weight of your fabric.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Pants, 0.8 - 1.15 m (0.9 - 1.2 yd) // Shorts, 0.5 - 0.6 m (0.6 - 0.7 yd) // Pocket lining, 0.25 m (0.25 yd).

Sizing: 3 – 12 years. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Interfacing (90 cm/35" wide), 0.25 m (0.25 yd); 3 cm (1 1/4") wide elastic, 54 - 69 cm (21.25" - 27"); 2 cm (3/4") wide elastic for legs, 30 - 42 cm (12" - 18"); drawstring, 8 - 10 mm (1/4" - 3/8") wide, 80 - 125 cm (32" - 50").
