Victory Patterns Esther Pants

Buy the Esther Pants sewing pattern from Victory Patterns. Esther is a loose fitting, wide-leg pant. The front features two angled overlapping pleats and centre seams along the legs. Front slash pockets follow the angles of the pleats. This style sits at the natural waist with a straight waistband and closes with an invisible zipper and button at the centre back. Esther can be sewn full-length or cropped just below mid-calf. An optional sash can be added to either style.

Suggested fabrics: Mid-weight fabric with high drape. Crepe, soft linen, silk, Tencel, rayon blends.

Fabric requirements: Purchase additional fabric if lengthening your garment or using fabric with nap, directional print, stripes or plaids.

Full-length pants: 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 - 3 1/4 yd (2.2 - 3 m) // 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/4 - 4 yd (3 - 3.5 m).

Cropped pants: 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/8 - 3 yd (2.2 - 2.7 m) // 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 - 3 3/4 yd (2.5 - 3.3 m).

Optional sash: 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // 45" (114 cm) wide fabric (sizes 0-10 only): 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Sizing: 0 - 16 (approx. UK 6 - 18). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
