Buy the Ava Dress and Blouse sewing pattern from Victory Patterns. Ava features a sweetheart neckline bodice that cinches at the natural waist and leads into a fully flared skirt. Add an optional pleated detail along the front and back bodice. The garment has a side seam zipper closure. Sleeve options include pleated cap, mini cap, and sleeveless. Choose from three hem options: peplum blouse, short dress, and tea length dress.

Self: Light to medium weight woven fabric with soft, flowing drape. Cotton, crepe, linen, silk, poplin, light wool.
Contrast A: Crisp light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, dupioni, taffeta, etc. Can also use self fabric.
Contrast B: Cotton, swiss dot, decorative net or tulle, lace.

Version 1: 60" (153 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 - 3 1/3 yd (2.5 - 3 m) // 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 4 1/2 - 4 7/8 yd (4.1 - 4.5 m).
Version 2: 60" (153 cm) wide fabric: 1 2/3 yd (1.5 m) // 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 yd (2.1 - 2.5 m).
Version 3: 60" (153 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/8 yd (1.3 m) // 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 5/8 - 2 yd (1.5 - 1.8 m).
Version 1 / Contrast A (pleats and self binding): 45" (115 cm) and 60" (153 cm) wide fabric: 7/8 yd (0.8 m).
Versions 2 and 3 / Contrast A (self binding): 45" (115 cm) and 60" (153 cm) wide fabric: 5/8 - 3/4 yd (0.6 - 0.7 m).
