Buy the Children's Mini Hudson Pant sewing pattern from True Bias. The Mini Hudson Pant is a children’s sized skinny sweatpant with an elastic waistband, drawstring, pockets, and cuffs. The urban fit of these pants leaves a bit of extra room around the hips and then tapers into a skinny leg. View A is a full length pant and View B is midcalf.

What we think: These are the ultimate joggers. They're a little bit smarter than standard sweatpants. Once you've made one pair, you'll be making them for the entire family - there are Hudsons for men and women too!

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight knits such as cotton Lycra, french terry, ponte, and sweatshirt knit with a suggested 40% - 75% stretch.

Fabric requirements: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: View A: 0.6 - 1.1 yd (0.54 - 1 m) // View B: 0.6 - 1 yd (0.54 - 0.91 m).

Extra fabric may be needed for matching stripes, plaids, or other patterned fabrics.

Sizing: 2 - 10 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Coordinating thread; 0.75 yd (0.7 m) of 1.25" (3.2 cm) wide elastic for sizes 2 - 5, or 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide elastic for sizes 6 - 10; 1.5 yd (1.4 m) of 0.25" (0.6 cm) wide cording; two 1" (2.5 cm) scraps of fusible interfacing; ballpoint sewing needle.
