Buy the Winnie Culottes sewing pattern from Sew Me Something. These wide leg culottes feature a flat waistband, side button opening, and curved cut out pockets. You can use a mid-weight fabric for more structure, or a lightweight fabric for a summery feel.

Suggested fabrics: Mid-weight cotton, light to mid-weight denim, needlecord, linen, tencel, lightweight wool suiting. The culottes have been designed with more mid-weight fabrics in mind, but you could also use viscose or viscose crepe for a more relaxed, floaty style.
Fabric requirements:
Sizes 6 – 20: 114 cm wide fabric: 2.4 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 1.8 - 2.2 m.
Sizes 20 – 34: 114 cm wide fabric: N/A // 140 cm wide fabric: 3.5 m.
Sizing: UK 6 – 20 or UK 20 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 18 or UK 22 – 36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 90 cm wide interfacing, 0.25 m for sizes 6-20 or 0.4 m for sizes 20-34; 16 mm buttons, 3 for sizes 6-20 or 4 for sizes 20-34.
