Buy the Swing Jacket sewing pattern from Sew Different. The Swing Jacket is a relaxed fit, throw-on jacket with no fastening. There are large pockets integrated into the front diagonal seam. The wide trim, which acts as a facing, and the grown-on, three quarter length sleeves make it a super-easy unlined jacket. You will find lengthen lines marked on the pattern pieces to allow you to alter the body and sleeve length to suit you.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:

Great jacket. Immense pockets

Previously, I've used jacquard for this pattern but it works just as well with lightweight fabric as a summer coverup.

I'm about 5 foot 2 inches, size 12 and I cut an extra small which equates to a size 8-10 according to the pattern. I reshaped it a little so the jacket has less swing. I don't know why I haven't done this before, instead of buying kimono patterns that I never use. I love the construction and the look of the pockets and the fact that I can use all sorts of fabric types.
