Buy the Thelma Trousers sewing pattern from Made My Wardrobe. The Thelma Trousers are a straight leg, high-waisted pair of trousers, with a buckle detail at the back. Climb a tree, ride a bike, fall off your skateboard, chop some wood, go to a festival, wear them out and about. Making this pattern is a great way to up your sewing skills and create a truly hard-wearing garment. If you have never sewn a fly zip before this is the perfect place to start. Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight woven fabrics such as denim, twill, or corduroy.
Fabric requirements: 1.5 m wide fabric: 1.35 m for sizes 6 - 10 // 1.5 m for sizes 12 - 16 // 2 m for sizes 18 - 24.
Sizing: UK 6 – 24. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Lightweight cotton for the front pocket bags; fusible interfacing for the waistband and fly facing; 15 cm metal jean zip; metal trouser hook and bar; 2.5 cm wide metal buckle for the back fastening; strong thread; specialist topstitching thread (optional).
PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (50 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets).
