The Orion Shorts are as easy to wear as your denim shorts, but they will give your outfit a much more polished look. These pleated shorts have side buttons or a side invisible zipper, darts in the back, and an optional invisible pocket on the right side.

Suggested fabrics: Broadcloth, chambray, lightweight denim, poplin, chino, seersucker, linen, crepes, suiting fabric. Different fabrics will create very different looks. Make sure your fabric doesn’t crease easily - this is important for professional-looking shorts.

Fabric requirements: 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: 1.09 yards (1 m) // 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 1.20 yards (1.1 m) // Lining for the pocket: a very small amount - you can use scraps!

Sizing: US 2 – 16 (approx. UK 6 – 16). Please check the size chart.

Notions: Matching thread; interfacing in the right weight for your fabric; lining for the pocket if you choose to have it; four 0.6" (1.5 cm) buttons or a 10" (25 cm) invisible zipper.
