Buy the 111 Nepali Blouse sewing pattern from Folkwear. This semi-fitted blouse features a wide band collar, tapered sleeves, deep underarm gussets for ease of movement, and overlapping front panels that tie on both sides and at the arm hole and above the waist on the inside. The blouse can also be made without the armhole ties for a casual open collar look. The sleeves are wide at the shoulder and gathered at the shoulder cap, then taper to a close fit below the elbow.

In Nepal, this wrap-and-tie blouse is traditionally made of velvet and worn under a wrap-style chupa or jumper or over a wrapped and pleated skirt formed from a sari or 6 yd (5.5 m) length of fabric. Directions for wrapping the skirt are included in the pattern, along with sewing tips for working with velvet.
