Suggested fabrics: Our best fabric advice for making a sweater is, you’ve got it, sweater fabric! A French terry will work as well, although it will look slightly less ‘fluffy’. A textured jersey or a thicker tricot are both great too. For the neckline, wrists and hem, use an elastic fabric that will maintain its shape, such as narrow ribbing. If you’re using 100% cotton, it is best to prewash your fabric because cotton will shrink!

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: 50 - 115 cm.

Sizing: 2 - 14 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; narrow ribbing fabric, 30 cm.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (15 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
