Zeena Dress

I love this pattern. Id intended it to be a toile, but am happy with how its gone together.
The bodice is a lovely relaxed fit, but with good shaping at the waist. The instructions are clear and very easy to follow. As there are no darts or sleeves to fiddle with, this would be a good first project for newbie sewers. The box pleats are easy once you know how. Do keep the pattern pieces handy, so you can follow how they work!
I shortened the bodice by 1″, but didn’t make any other fitting alterations. I have worn this to work with boots and tights and had lots of compliments. Not bad for an Asda curtain!
