Xerea Dress

This is a fun, quick dress. After it came off the machine, I had my doubts about the tent shape. In the pictures it’s super cute, but I was drowning in fabric. I ended up taking it in quite a bit around the hips, which reduced the size of the pockets a lot.

I love the v in the back of the neck – it’s adorable.

I thought the pockets were tricky (as others have noted) and hard to finish nicely. If I made this again I would finish all the pieces with a serger before constructing the side of the dress.

I was pretty on the fence about this dress initially, but have been wearing it nonstop so I think it’s a win! Also, the PDF is beautifully done and goes together perfectly.
