Buy the V9228 trousers sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. These tapered pants are loose-fitting through the hips and have an elasticated waist, stitched hems and pockets.

Suggested fabrics: Ponte, jersey, silk charmeuse, crepe.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.

Sizing: Y (XS-S-M), ZZ (L-XL-XXL), approx. UK sizes Y (4 – 10), ZZ (12 – 24). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 1 1/2 yds. (1.4 m) of 1″ (2.5 cm) elastic, remnant of 1″ x 13 1/2″ (2.5 cm x 34.3 cm) fusible interfacing.
