Buy the Tabor V-neck Top sewing pattern from Sew House Seven. The Tabor V-neck is a versatile top that can be dressed up or down. It features a loose fit, drop shoulders and various necklines and body lengths. The oversized body width is most compatible with lightweight, fluid knits with at least 25% stretch.

Tee Version #1 – A deep v-neck with a mitred or lapped neckband, curved hem, and narrow long sleeves.

Tee Version #2 – A deep v-neck with a mitred or lapped neckband, curved hem, and banded short sleeves to roll up.

Tee Version #3 – A deep v-neck with a mitred or lapped neckband, cropped straight hem, and no sleeves.

Sweater Version #4 – A semi-deep v-neck with a lapped neckband, split hem with vented sides, and narrow long sleeves. It works best with sweater knits that do not have too much structure or stretch recovery.

Sweater Version #5 – A semi-deep v-neck with a lapped neckband, cropped straight hem, and no sleeves. It works best with sweater knits that do not have too much stretch recovery.

Suggested fabrics:

Tee Versions #1-3: Lightweight, fluid knit fabrics with at least 25% stretch, such as rayon, bamboo, and soy jerseys, and for a slightly more boxy fit, cotton, linen, and hemp jerseys.

Sweater Versions #4-5: Sweater knit fabrics with at least 25% stretch. For best results with the neck, use natural fibre sweater knits such as wool jersey, novelty sweater knits and some rib knits that are not extremely stiff.

Avoid knits with excellent stretch recovery (such as pontes and fabrics with high Lycra content – 6% and above) for use on the neckband.
