Buy the Picasso Top and Pants sewing pattern from The Sewing Workshop. The loose-fitting top has a jewel neckline, off-centre front seam, square-inset long tapered sleeves, and front pocket. A special overlapping seam technique is included in the instructions. The loose-fitting lantern pants have front, side and back panels finished with tapered bottom wedges. The flat-front waistband has elastic sides and back.

Suggested fabrics: Top: Light to mid-weight knits with two- or four-way stretch // Pants: Light to mid-weight cotton, linen, rayon, polyester, silk, and knits.

Top (using one fabric):

45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 2 1/4 yd (2.1 m) // L-XXL, 2 1/2 yd (2.3 m).

54/60″ (137/152 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 1 7/8 yd (1.7 m) // L-XXL, 2 1/4 yd (2.1 m).

Top (using three fabrics):

54/60″ (137/152 cm) wide fabric: Fabric #1, 7/8 yd (0.8 m) // Fabric #2, 7/8 yd (0.8 m) // Fabric #3, 3/4 yd (0.7 m).

Pants:

45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 2 1/4 yd (2.1 m) // L-XXL, 3 1/8 yd (2.9 m).

60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 1 3/4 yd (1.6 m) // L-XXL, 1 7/8 yd (1.7 m).

Sizing: XS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread // Pants: 1 yd of 1″-wide elastic.
