Buy the No. 18 Los Angeles Jacket sewing pattern from How to Do Fashion. Inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood, its statement shoulders, gathered waist and bias-cut sleeves give this jacket an effortless elegance. The pattern includes two versions.

Version 1: Jacket with quilted shoulders and patch pockets.

Version 2: Jacket with padded shoulders and no pockets.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, silk, viscose, cupro or polyester. The final look of the garment will depend on the type of fabric you choose. Not suitable for jersey.

Fabric requirements:

110 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-44, 2.5 m // Sizes 46-50, 3.0 m.

140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-44, 1.75 m // Sizes 46-50, 2.25 m.

Sizing: EU 34 – 50 (approx. UK 8/10 – 24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 0.3 m of batting; 2 buttons; 2.5 cm wide elastic: 20 cm for sizes 34-38, 25 cm for sizes 40-44, 30 cm for sizes 46-50 // Version 1: quilting glue (spray adhesive).
