Nikki Cardigan

I love this versatile, stylish cardigan pattern by Athina Kakou. It’s a quick and straight-forward sew, especially as it can be completely constructed on an overlocker!
I made the longer version out of only 1.5 metres (When the pattern stated 2.5 metres!) of this lovely, colourful animal print jersey from Loubodou Fabrics. I didn’t have enough fabric to make the tie belt, but I just added a RTW belt that I had in my wardrobe.
I love that you can wear this cardigan in different ways – open, open with a belt or wrapped with a belt. It gives a range of different looks and also can be dressed up or down.

If you’re looking for a simple but stylish cardigan pattern, this could be the one for you – I’d highly recommend you give it a try!
