Mirambell Skirt

Reviewed by Sew-What on 19th October, 2018

This was a really fun project! I got the idea to make it as I’d seen lots of people on my commute wearing button up skirts and I had a light bulb moment when I remembered I had this melon fabric in my stash. With this fabric I could think of nothing better than to pair it with fruit buttons!

The pattern it self comes in lovely packaging with a sew in label. The instructions are simple to follow but I would say it’s better suited to an advanced beginner as the pockets could be a little complicated and it has a button band.

I added a lining but there is not any lining pattern pieces so you need to make sure you allow extra fabric where the pockets are rather than just cutting out the exact same pattern pieces again.

I would recommend this pattern as it’s a flattering shape and I would say a staple for any wardrobe.
