Gemma Sweater

I really loved the front bodice lines on this pattern. So, much so, I decided to make it in red and black. I made the sweater version only because I do not wear dresses too often. The pattern comes together really fast when using an overlocker. The instructions are quite explicit and easy to follow. I do suggest that when constructing it to follow the order suggested in the instructions. They are done in that way to ensure you get perfect corners. It’s especially important when using contrasting fabrics like I did. I had to unpick some of my overlocked stitches (not fun when you have to unpick black thread on black fabric). This top is such a fun garment to make and it’s quite versatile. One can use some of those leftover fabrics you cannot make another garment. For more details and pictures please see the link below:
