The sweeping silhouette of the Frankie Shift pairs perfectly with a soft drapey fabric like rayon, or can look more casual and carefree in a linen. This design features clever side panel pockets and an optional tie. Choose between the flutter sleeves, sewn into the seam, or sleeveless for a look that is unique to your own individual style.

Suggested fabrics: Rayon, voile, lawn, tencel, linen or other light to medium weight woven fabric.
Fabric requirements:
Top with sleeves: Directional 44″ (110 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 yd (2 m).
Top sleeveless: Directional 44″ (110 cm) wide fabric: 1.75 yd (1.5 m).
Dress with sleeves: Directional 44″ (110 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 3.25 yd (2.75 – 3.15 m).
Dress sleeveless: Directional 44″ (110 cm) wide fabric: 2.4 – 3 yd (2.25 – 2.75 m).
Sizing: 8 – 22 (approx. UK 8/10 – 22/24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 1/2″ (12 mm) pre-made bias or an extra 1/4 yd (0.25 m) of fabric to make your own; small button for back.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; print-at-home pattern (24 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
