Buy the Cove Pant sewing pattern from Pattern Fantastique. Part 30s sailor chic and part 70s sportswear, these trousers are determined to be worn by the sea. Super high waisted with a back double layer yoke, the front features paper bag style gathers created by double drawstrings over the front between the hip pocket openings. The pocket bags are a single layer stitched through to the leg with a wrap-over pocket trim detail. A high glam shape with a streamlined finish, Cove can be worn cropped or floor length.

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight fabrics that gather and compress well. The waistband will end up with a number of layers from the drawstring casing, drawstring and gathers. This design works best in papery cotton, poplins, shirting, drapey lightweight linens, silk twills, rayon and tencel.

Fabric requirements: 112 cm wide fabric: 300 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 250 cm.
