Suggested fabricsMedium weight knit fabric such as cotton/Lycra french terry, sweatshirt fleece, etc. You need fabric with at least 20% stretch, and closer to 50% is best. You will also need cotton/Lycra ribbing for the neckline (unless you are doing the split collar) and the wrist and waist cuffs. If necessary you can substitute cotton/Lycra jersey for the wrist and waist cuffs.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 40 – 130 cm (3/8 – 1 3/8 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Button neck option: A small amount (20 mm/3/4″) of iron-on medium interfacing (stretch is best, but non-stretch will be fine) and buttons and/or snaps. As a guide, you will need approx. 3 small buttons for a newborn, single side button neck and 6 small buttons for age 12. Double that number for a double side button neck or split collar. You will need fewer if your buttons are big. If you are doing a button neck with large buttons, you will also need 1 snap for the neckband of a single side opening or 2 snaps for a double opening.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (20 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
