Buy the 271 Sunset Wrap sewing pattern from Folkwear. Inspired by the elegant and simple styles of the 1940s, this easy one-arm wrap shawl is a breeze to make, allowing you to sew up a beautiful wrap in an hour or less. This wrap can be made for winter with heavier-weight warm fabrics or is perfect for summer evenings made from lightweight material with good drape.

Suggested fabrics: Fabrics that drape well such as cotton gauze, rayon, silk charmeuse or chiffon, soft cotton twill. Heavier weight fabrics that drape well, such as wool crepe, are also appropriate. Note that the back side of the fabric can be seen.

Fabric requirements: 45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 yd (2.5 m) // 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/8 yd (1.9 m).

Sizing: One size fits all XS – 3XL.

Notions: Thread // Optional: Topstitching thread for hem.
