1301 Summer Blouse

The 1301 is a summery blouse that complements anything from high-waisted shorts to casual jeans to a breezy A-line skirt. The top features a fitted bodice and sleeves that tie at the shoulder for a sweet and flirty touch. With its 1960s flair and nipped-in waist, the 1301 looks good on all body types. Warm weather is coming; now show what your mama gave you!

This pattern comes with three variations: Version 1 features tie knots at the shoulder, Version 2 has button-hole closure at the back shoulder and Version 3 has puffed kimono tie sleeves. A shallow scooped neckline, shaped with front and back darts and a side seam zipper closure. Hem finishes at the hipbone level. Designed to accentuate a curvy silhouette.

Size 2-18.  The pattern is nested to facilitate cutting between sizes if needed.

Suggested Fabrics crisp Light-medium weight fabrics such as cotton, voile, batiste, lightweight linen, light shirting, stable rayon.

Techniques include Sewing straight and curved seams, bodice darts, facings, invisible zipper. Version 2: Button-holes and Buttons.
