Werk! – Sienna Maker Jacket

Another absolute gem from Closet Case Patterns here. I really enjoyed making it and love wearing it!

I made view C – a cropped version with front and back button plackets, unlined and a boxy silhouette. I decided to forego the sleeve pockets as I knew that I would never use them, and thought that it would look too much with such a bold print.

My only tiniest of tiny complaints is that whilst the shape is a supposed to be boxy, I did find it a little oversized for me and the shoulder also comes over quite a bit (I have pretty standard shoulder proportions and I have never had to do a narrow/wide shoulder adjustment on a pattern). The style is meant to be a dropped shoulder but when making in a stiffer fabric, I think it sticks out a bit much, but not enough to be deliberate.
